Relax at our top Harrogate Spas
5th January 2018

So January’s here again, everyone’s least favourite month. We’re all feeling a little deflated after such a busy Christmas period and can’t believe the first week of work is already over!

We here at Slingsby think the best way to get over your January blues is to treat yourself to a little relaxation and rejuvenation in the wonderful spa town of Harrogate.

We’ve got a run down of our favourite Harrogate Spas – the perfect January treat!

Rudding Park

The world famous Rudding Park hotel invested £9.5 million into the redevelopment of its spa which opened in May last year. It has already been awarded Best Newcomer in the Good Spa Guide Awards and it 100% deserves it. With Hydrotherapy and thermotherapy experiences, mind and sense rooms and a rooftop spa and garden, it ticks all the boxes. It also has the added bonus of beautiful grounds and the wonderful Horto restaurant – to top it off you can visit the kitchen gardens where our Slingsby Gin botanicals are grown!

Hotel Du Vin

Nestled in the centre of Harrogate, Hotel Du Vin’s spa offers the perfect tranquil spot. Based in a beautiful period building adjacent to the hotel with views of the Stray, Spa Du Vin offers a relaxing and refreshing pamper session. With steam rooms, holistic, and therapeutic treatments as well as beauty treatments it the perfect place for a bit of relaxation and January rejuvenation.

Harrogate Turkish Baths

Visit the home of Harrogate’s Spa town reputation with a trip to the ornate Turkish Baths. Take a step back in time and experience a piece of history at the baths, which have been running 120 years this year! Working through heating, cooling and cleansing your body, the Turkish bath experience encourages a clear mind and total relaxation. They even have a plunge pool – which is said to improve circulation, flush toxins and even tone muscles which sounds like the perfect post-Christmas treatment.
