January Cocktails

Our mixologists have been hard at work over the Christmas break crafting some refreshing & relaxing January pick-me-up cocktails. Taking inspiration from traditional health ingredients along with some of the latest wellness trends to bring you some truly restorative cocktails.

Stray Sour

50ml Rhubarb gin
15ml Lemon juice
10ml Campari
100ml Kombucha

Stir ingredients in a mixing glass over ice then double strained into a glass with ice.
Garnished with dehydrated ginger

It may be a little cold to go out and enjoy one on the Harrogate Stray though?

Spa Town Cosmo

35ml Slingsby Vodka
15ml Orange liquor
25ml Lime juice 
25ml Pomegranate juice
50ml Profusion Organic Kombucha Baobab, Mint & Pomegranate
10ml Nettle syrup (bottle green)

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and double strain into a martini glass. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and orange zest.

Hot tip: Kombucha is set to be a key 2018 cocktails trend. The fermented drink is said to have detoxification qualities, aid digestion and help the immune system!

Taylors Teatox

35ml Slingsby Navy Strength Gin
50ml Taylors Green and Jasmine Iced tea
Rosemary and thyme syrup 
200ml Naturally light tonic

Fill a rocks glass with ice and add the Navy Strength Gin, iced tea and syrup, stir and top with light tonic.

To make the Green and Jasmine iced tea:
Take 6 of the tea bags and steep in 300ml of boiling water for 5 minutes
Add a cup of ice and Sweetener to taste.

To make the rosemary and thyme syrup:
200g caster sugar stirred into 200ml of hot water on a medium heat
3 rosemary and thyme sprigs
Gently simmer for 10 minutes and leave to cool.
