Thomas Pink took over the legendary White Horse pub on Parsons Green yesterday, transforming it into The Pink Lion Rugby Club, with a day of rugby fun, to celebrate the upcoming Lions Tour to New Zealand.
The following Lions attended the event; Rory Best, Taulupe Faletau, Stuart Hogg, Jonathan Joseph all of whom who are in the final stages of preparation before travelling to New Zealand.
Lions legends Richard Hill, Phil Vickery and Shane William joined the others to create the fantastic Lions Pride. All took part in a live Q&A on the green, and Phil Vickery as MasterChef Winner also be flipped Kiwi burgers on the club BBQ.
The ‘Lions Pride’ event was a must for any stylish Lions fan. It featured a meet and greet experience with Lions legends, a New Zealand themed BBQ, live music, we were there sampling our Lions tour edition gin and there was also an exclusive pop up store presenting the official Thomas Pink Lions collection.
As the afternoon’s festivities drew to a close, fans were invited to gather on Parsons Green to listen to an exclusive ‘Lions tales’ Q&A. The line-up of Lions stars shared their best rugby anecdotes and dressing-room tales as well as giving unique insights as the Lions squad prepares for their tour to New Zealand.
